Kody was born and raised in Greenville, SC where his family currently resides. He is #4 of 6 kids and currently lives with his twin sister Kassandra Young and their two dogs Letty and Coco. Kody began competitive cheerleading at the age of 10 in Greenville, SC at Carolina Allstars. He has competed nationally on levels 1-6 and has won multiple titles including 6 NCA National Championships, 2 Triple Crowns and 2 World Championship titles. Kody was a member of Rockstar Cheer where he coached and choreographed countless teams to win many national titles as well as place top 3 at The Summit multiple times. He also competed on Rockstar Cheers elite coed level 6 team “The Beatles” from 2016-2022 where he won many national titles and placed top 3 in the World Championships 4 times. Kody has also choreographed many all-star and high school cheerleading teams all over the country and has won multiple choreography and performance awards. He continues to travel in the summer time to choreograph all-star and high school cheer programs all over the country. He is beyond excited to start his next chapter as an owner and all-star director for Designer Athletics.
